Snow Removal Policy
While Brandermill roads are the responsibility of Virginia Department of Transportation, the BCA will continue to help with snow clearing when snowfall accumulates to three inches. The BCA staff will make use of free sand provided by VDOT to spread on parkways. The BCA will also assist in plowing the main parkways, major intersections, and the entrances to neighborhoods in Brandermill. However, clearing in the neighborhoods and cul-de-sacs will have to wait until VDOT has cleared major roads and VDOT equipment is available.
In case of a medical emergency during a snowfall, please call 744-1035x108 for assistance and the BCA staff will do everything possible to assist clearing snow from a particular home to a main parkway.
