The marriage of Misty Gayle Lawrence of Lexington, Ky., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell E. Lawrence of Danville, Ky., to Dr. David Lyle Keeton of Lexington, Ky., son of Dr. and Mrs. James M. Keeton, Jr., of Winterberry Ridge took place on March 29 at Centenary Methodist Church in Lexington, Ky.
The Rev. Mark Hoogerhyde officiated.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Leach of Junction City, Ky., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rube Lawrence of Brodhead, Ky.
The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George L. Simpson of Nashville, Tenn., and Dr. and Mrs. J. Marvin Keeton, Sr. of Muirfield Green.
Cara Gilpin served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Sarah Keeton, sister of the groom; Hillary Campbell Keeton, sister-in-law of the groom; Cristy Emerson; Paige Ratliffe; Amber Faris; and Stephanie and Stacie Lawrence, nieces of the bride.
James M. Keeton, III, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were: Dr. David Manegold; Chris Aycock; Jon Regrut; Adam Newman; Chase Hill; and Brandon Kline.
Donda Duchsherer served as mistress of ceremonies. Richard Dwyer served as music director, and Dr. David Manegold was the soloist.
The rehearsal dinner, given by the groom’s parents, took place at The Thoroughbred Center in Lexington, Ky.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the Lexington Hyatt in the grand ballroom, where guests enjoyed dinner and dancing.
The bride received a master’s degree in secondary English education from the University of Kentucky; she is a teacher with the Boyle County school system in Danville, Ky. The groom is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.
After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple resides in Paducah, Ky.
