"Our family moved to the Richmond area from Roanoke in 1978. We started looking for a home in the West End, but couldn't find anything that felt right. When our realtor brought us out to Brandermill, we thought it was too far from the city. But when we first drove through the community, it reminded us so much of home that we asked him to find us a house.

We bought a lifestyle and home—not just a house. Since then, we have lived in four different neighborhoods in Brandermill: Nuttree Woods, Poplar Grove, Sagewood and Muirfield Green. And now, one of my children has moved back to Brandermill to raise her family. Brandermill offers families great amenities to live life to the fullest."

"When I purchased my home I did not realize what a treasure trove Brandermill truly is. My location is perfect: walking paths, tennis, golf courses and Swift Creek Reservoir all within walking distance. The first time I walked down to the water and saw the egrets and boats and beauty, I was awestruck. Everyone is so friendly and my neighbors are wonderful. I can't say enough about this community. This home had all the openness I was looking for; it backs-up to the woods, so I see the deer periodically from my deck in the evening. It is the mix of suburb and nature that I treasure. I bought a house I thought was to be a two-to three-year investment. What I found is a home."
