Last week, the BCA Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve the 2012 budget proposed by the BCA Finance Committee. The budget calls for a 3.5 percent assessment increase amounting to $1.23 per household per month.
The new budget will allow for completion of priority 2012 projects recommended by the Master Plan Operations Committee and staff. Residents will continue to see results from the implementation of these projects. The budget will support the same or enhanced levels of service for the members of the association and allow full funding of the reserve fund at new contribution levels defined by the Reserve Study completed for 2011.
BCA Board members commended BCA Finance Committee Chair Buddy Whitfield and committee members for their diligent work in preparing the 2012 budget. Please see projects and the budget on page 3.
